CHEESE SAUCE
This stuff is great for vegetables (like broccoli or whatever) and any other food you might want to drown in cheese... this recipe I'm going to give you is for about a pound of vegetables... or a pound of whatever, I guess.
Ingredients...
-2 tbsp. butter
-2 tbsp. flour
-1 c. milk
-1/4 tsp. salt
-1/8 tsp. pepper
-1/4 lb. Velveeta Cheese (cut
into small pieces)
Directions...
While your food is cooking, make
the cheese sauce. In a
saucepan, melt the butter.
Then, add the flour, salt, and
pepper. (I know 1/4 of a
tsp. and 1/8 of a tsp. sounds
absolutely ridiculous...)
Mix well... Add milk and cook,
stirring constantly until the
mixture thickens. Then,
add the cheese - don't forget to
cut it up before you throw it in
there. Just keep stirring
until the cheese is melted...
then pour it over your food...
and eat it!
Oh! And you might have some left over... I doubled this recipe the first time I made it because I thought it wouldn't be enough... ha, yeah right. I had a TON left over... so, here's what I did - and personally, I think it's a fantastic idea... Ha. Add some more Velveeta (as much as you want!) and some Rotel (again, as much as you want)... and you have cheese dip! And cheese dip is the BOMB.
